Most students study weekly in a 30 minute lesson.

The rate is $30 per 30 minute lesson in our home studio near Mill Creek (Silver Firs). Other schedules, as well as group rates, may be negotiated. Ask about a discount for seasonal prepayment. Payment will be made at the first lesson of each month. No credit will be given for missed lessons unless there is an emergency.

Laurie is an accomplished teacher, singer, and music director. Students find her enthusiasm for music contagious. Many of her students (and student-families) have been with her for several years. A summary of Laurie’s experience and background follows.

                             Responsibilities include: Choir director, worship leader, pastoral care and service planning. Supervisor: Dan Neary, Pastor

1/99 – 5/03           Music Instructor - Piano and Voice, Northwest University, Kirkland, WA

                             Responsibilities included private instruction of University students taking lessons for credit to meet degree requirements.

6/99 - current       Private Piano and Voice Teacher. 15-20 students in private lessons at my home.

9/00 – 5/02           Choir Director, Legacy Home School Cooperative, Redmond, WA

                             Directed 2-4 weekly music classes and choirs for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

9/99  - 6/08      Assistant, Hiz Kidz Choir, Grades 1 – 6, Cedar Park Church, Bothell, WA

                             Responsibilities include: Filling in for the director when she is absent, rehearsal assistant, directing the chimes elective for grades 4 – 6, and leading and coordinating all the elective leaders.

9/99  - 5/03          Bell Choir Director, Cedar Park Church, Bothell, WA

                             Established and directed the adult bell choir which ministered in Sunday morning worship services (monthly) and special concerts.
